The Rev. Peter Cochran Memorial Scripture Examination is an annual Scripture exam conducted by CSI Wesley English Church, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai in memory of the late Rev. Peter Cochran who was a Pastor of the Church from 1972 to 1978.
Rev. Peter Cochran had a special place in his heart for children. He was famous for his puppet shows and his unique ability to entertain while teaching children about the Lord Jesus and His love. It is no surprise that the children loved him and eagerly looked forward to every opportunity to listen to him
The objective of the exam is to give children an opportunity to learn more about God and memorize Scripture. Churches, Schools and Parents are invited to register for children studying in Classes 3 to 12.

Will be awarded to the institutions with the highest points, based on the total points accumulated by their candidates:
The date and time of prize distribution will be communicated later. The decision of the Conveners shall be final and binding.
* Though registration is free, we request Churches, Schools and Parents to ensure that children who register, WRITE the exam. There is significant effort involved in organizing the exam and when registered children do not participate, it is not only a missed opportunity for the child, but it also wastes precious resources.
